In 2005 Henry turned to Custom I.T. for the redesign of their corporate website. The visual implementation of the site was awarded to their main advertising agency while we were selected as the experts in advanced website implementation. 

A key goal in this project was to develop a highly adaptable website architecture that can support Henry's rapid evolution as a company. The main challenge was to control the cost of simple website maintenance tasks and transfer the website's control to more cost effective internal resources.

A powerful Content Management System was selected to support this large website. The advantages of using a CMS as the website's engine were primarily the following:

	Tight control of the website's look and feel
	Website ownership transfer to high level company resources.
	Fast turnaround of website maintenance tasks
	Up-to-date content

The original website was developed on the Microsoft Web Platform. The switch to Enterprise Open Source Technology gave the client a powerful, highly available yet cost effective website.

The new website is now based on the powerful Linux Apache MySQL PHP (LAMP) Web Platform that offers tremendous cost savings over the previous solution.
